mitt romney had the luxury of preparation endlessly for this debate. this is his full-time job as running for president. the president, you know, actually has a full-time job and that is running the country. he was rusty and it showed. mitt romney had had 20 debates this year. was very well prepared. and that showed too. but i do think president obama was able to do the contrast. i loved when he looked directly to the camera and talked to the american people about his plan in protecting the middle class versus mitt romney's but he certainly missed some opportunities. >> here is the thing. when it comes to issues, a lot of people are talking about what wasn't mentioned of the debate like romney's 47% comment, romney's taxes, bain capital. why didn't the president mention these things? >> that's exactly right, carol, and what i was about to say is that he absolutely missed some opportunities. i don't understand why he didn't bring up the 47%. i don't know understand why he didn't focus on bain and i don't understand why he did not go back very hard on mi
